Giordano's - 5159 S Pulaski Rd: A Deep Dish Delight in Chicago

We decided to try this location. We ordered one appetizer (calamari and more), one deep dish (meat and more meat), and one Chicago tavern style (chicken pesto). The deep dish has pepperoni, sausage, salami, and bacon. The Chicago tavern style has chicken, pesto, and tomatoes. The calamari and more appetizer was decent but I’m not sure it was worth $14. For the price, they could have given us more. The deep dish was pretty good if you like these kinds of pizzas. The crust was flaky and required little chew. The main part is very cheesy and they do not skimp on the meat. The Chicago tavern style was very crispy and that pesto sauce gives it a herby and garlicky taste. Pesto pairs well with the chicken and tomatoes. The service was average. I would have liked our server to be more attentive like fill our glasses of water without us saying anything. Overall, it’s a 4 out of 5 for me.

The ambiance is cozy and inviting just what you need after a long day, with the soft lighting and comfortable seating that make you want to linger. Now, about those Buffalo Chicken Wings: they’re incredible. These wings arrive sizzling hot, a vibrant, bright orange that practically glows on the plate, and you can instantly see the glossy coat of buffalo sauce clinging to each crispy edge. The sauce is bold and vibrant, with that classic buffalo tang that hits you right in the taste buds. It’s rich with spicy, peppery warmth that leaves just the right amount of heat on your tongue, balanced by a hint of buttery richness. Each wing is an explosion of flavor; the outside is satisfyingly crunchy, and the interior is tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. When you take that first bite, you get the ideal combo: a loud crunch followed by a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The sauce is thick and creamy, pooling in just the right places, so every bite is packed with flavor. Drizzle or dip them in the cool, creamy ranch on the side, and the tangy richness complements the spicy buffalo, creating the perfect balance. These wings are the kind that make you want to keep eating even when you're full. If you’re in the mood for wings that are full of character, crispy, saucy, and deeply flavorful Giordano’s is absolutely the place to go.

Everything from the pizza, to the sampler, to the Italiano sandwich was tasty! Attentive service and quick kitchen made my dining experience great. The manager Gaby & our server Karla were the absolute best! Will return.

Haven't had Giordanos in a while and it did not disappoint. Hot fresh pizza... the deep dish was cooked perfectly as well as the cheese thin crust ,very cheesy. The wings were nice sized ,hot and saucy just perfect. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Came in 4 pm and there was no wait , would definitely recommend and come back

We just got a quick bite in here to get a personal deep dish and some tiramisu. Wait time was 20ish minutes and the waitress was very patient and kind. The crust was amazing and the tiramisu was not too sweet for two people. Decorations and vibes were nice, the spinning door at the entrance is a fun little addition

We placed our order via online for pickup. Our order was ready on time. Giordano’s never disappoints!
